About Derby Pride 2019
Derby Pride 2019 will take place on Saturday 7th September 2019 at Curzon Street, Derby.
2019 is the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and Derby Pride 2019 will be celebrating 50 years of the global LGBT+ Pride movement and paying tribute to our brave brothers and sisters who stood up to hatred, bigotry and brutality.
For 2019 we have Derby Pride’s biggest and best ever line-up of acts performing on the main stage from 12pm – 6pm. Derby Pride 2019 will be hosted by Soraya Vivian and Pete Martine. Our headline acts are dance legends Rozalla and MOBO award winning Urban and Dance star Kele Le Roc.

Location and Details
Derby Pride 2019 will take place on Saturday 7th September 2019 at Curzon Street, Derby.
The main Pride event takes place on Curzon Street and Bramble Street, which will be closed to traffic by Derby City Council between 6am and 11pm on the day. The nearest car park is 2 minutes away on Abbey Street.
Pride day will start with a large and colourful parade through the central shopping area and the Market Place, from St. Peter’s Street and ending up at Curzon Street at 12pm for the start of the main Pride event. The on foot parade will include the Ambassadors Showband and various groups, as well as members of the general public. The meeting point for anyone wanting to take part in the parade is on St Peter’s Churchyard, at the junction with St. Peter’s Street – participants should meet between 11am and 11.15am. Ryans Bar on St. Peter's Churchyard will be opening at 11am for anyone needing refreshments or toilet facilities.
