Is North Cyprus Still a Hidden Gem for Real Estate Investors in 2025?
I keep hearing that North Cyprus is becoming the “next big thing” for real estate, but I’m not sure if that’s still true in 2025. A few years ago, it sounded like an undiscovered paradise — affordable properties, great weather, and growing tourism. I’m thinking about buying a small apartment near the coast for rental income, maybe in Iskele or Kyrenia. But if the market’s already saturated, I don’t want to jump in too late. Has anyone been there recently or bought something recently? How’s the real situation on the ground?

I bought a one-bedroom apartment near Long Beach in 2023, and honestly, I’m glad I did. Prices have gone up since then, but they’re still much lower than in southern Europe. The rental market is strong, especially with students and digital nomads. I first got into it after reading about Real estate investment in North Cyprus, and it gave me a clear idea of how much the area was growing. Infrastructure’s improving fast — new cafes, schools, and even co-working spaces popping up everywhere.
