Derby Pride Code of Conduct
Our code of conduct is designed to ensure that Derby Pride is a safe and accepting space for everybody and every body. Derby Pride is a celebration of diversity and equality, and all visitors and participants are expected to embrace and respect this.
Derby Pride will not tolerate any threatening, violent or offensive behavior against its volunteers, staff, police, security personnel or members of the public.
Derby Pride celebrates diversity and will not tolerate any individual making derogatory remarks about a person's sexuality, gender, gender identity, race, age, nationality, disability, appearance, religion or any other factor.
Any individual infringing the bodily integrity of other participants will be removed from the site immediately and referred to the police.
Any person that is deemed aggressive, incapacitated, threatening, a threat to their own health, or unable to fulfil the role they intended to do due to intoxication, will not be permitted to take part in the event.
If you see or are notified of any incident that would break this code of conduct, please notify a Derby Pride official, steward, event security or a member of the Police immediately.
Failure to abide by the Code of Conduct can result in the following:
– Any person behaving in such a manner can be immediately removed from the event
– Any person found to be taking part in illegal activity will be reported to the police.
In all matters relating to this code of conduct, the decision of Derby Pride CIO directors, official security staff and event staff will be final.
